Greenhouse worker

In this role you will (duties performed in a shift vary based on plant cycle) :

•          Harvest plants which includes seed collection, plant and soil disposal

•          Clean the greenhouse and keep it tidy while working

•          Grow plants by filling pots with soil, sowing seeds, transferring plants larger pots

•          Monitor plants and report issues

•          Transient gene transformation by infiltration, collect leaves and process for use in laboratory

•          Other tasks as required

•   No prior experience required

•          Flexible to work on an as required basis

•          Not afraid of hard work.

•          You take showing up on time, every time, seriously.

•          Rock-solid attendance.

•          You are dedicated and care about the work

•          Ability to work efficiently and respond quickly to changing priorities

•          Positive attitude

•          Strong attention to detail is a must

•          Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

•          Able to work in a physically demanding role

•          Authorized to work in Canada

•          Must be able to life 50lbs with ease
